About

Serving the communities in West Oahu beginning in 1972, WCCHC will celebrate its 49th anniversary in 2021. From its start as a one-doctor office, the health center is the largest, and oldest of the fifteen community health centers in the state. WCCHC is a safety net for uninsured, medically underserved residents in West Oahu. Last year, supported by 150 of its medical providers, WCCHC served 38,699 individuals thru 219,339 visits using a “patient-centered healthcare home” model of care that integrates primary care, behavioral health, dental care, diagnostic services, specialty care, and more. WCCHC’s service area on the Waianae Coast includes a main center and two satellite clinics, a vision clinic, three school-based primary care centers, and a school-based dental center. The expanded service area outside of the Waianae Coast includes three clinics located in Kapolei, Ewa, and Waipahu.
