About
When we opened in 1935, we only had a handful of tables and our plate lunches were sold for less than a dollar. Some things may have changed since then, but the warm hospitality and comforting Japanese and Hawaiian food we serve has stayed the same. Stop by from 8 AM to 3 PM to mix and match your custom lunch from our traditional okazu dishes like Inari sushi, corned beef hash tempura, and fried chicken. Join us after 3 PM for full-course Japanese dinners and cocktails. We pride ourselves on being a long-standing staple in our community, and hope you’ll stop by to experience the food and culture we’ve been so fortunate to keep alive for four generations.
